LcdDem is a game made by Koronba realesed in January, 26 2010 as an open-source freeware.

In April 2013, Koronba posted a bizarre message on the official site asking fans to forget about LcdDem and to remove any content related to it. They asked not to share it or even speak of it. It is not known why they chose to do this. It has been speculated that the game reminds them of something they would like to forget.

Oniro is a port I did, which is based on the Ver.0.030 build (Translated).
It runs on, the official steam release of, the RPG MAKER 2003 Engine, (Version 1.12a).

It works on newer machines, (With windows 7 and above), with some issues.
(Certain events, that utilize files with unicode characters, will crash the game.)

Currently you can explore all worlds from the legacy game without any issues. Also the game might crash when picking up "effects" or "orbs".

Update: I added the legacy release, bundled with a modified EasyRPG player, to make it launch and play. You might want to play that instead, (as it works as intended), until the full release of LcdDem Oniro. There is also a browser version that you can play above.

This game feels like a distant cousin of yume nikki and I love it!

Keep up the good work!

If u dont know the air surrounding this game, this is a repost of lcddem an old yume nikki fangame, which is made by a (possibly former) mysterious musician and gamedev who is not the person that posted it to itch. If you dont know abt them and want to, start with this. Do not say their name in public forums the author of the game hated attention and we like to respect it.

Well I do understand that Koronba does not like to be reminded of his work online, but when you release something in the public domain you should acknowledge beforehand the consequences of releasing your work publicly as freeware.

It is a shame for such a decently made game, like LcdDem, to be forgotten.

Despite all said, if Koronba wants the game to be removed, I have no issue whatsoever to comply with his request.

maybe it would be for the best, but it would also suck if the one mainstream copy was taken down.
